Dr. Marta Lustig Successfully Completes PhD

We are pleased to announce the successful completion of Dr. Marta Lustig’s PhD within the Clinical Research Unit, CATCH ALL. Her thesis, “Sialic acid/Siglec axis regulates antibody-mediated neutrophil cytotoxicity towards cancer cells,” has contributed valuable insights to the field of cancer immunology. Dr. Lustig’s research, guided by her examiners, Prof. Thomas Valerius and Prof. Axel Scheidig, advances our understanding of the immune system’s role in targeting cancer cells. This work has been part of our project 6 “CD47 blockade”.  We congratulate Marta on this significant academic milestone and look forward to her continued contributions to CATCH ALL.
